How to make your personal business card online

One prompt is enough. The helper reads vinssi.ai/card.md, shows you a summary, and publishes a short public introduction only after you approve it.

What you get

One public page: your name, a role, a short bio, interests or projects, and public links. The helper writes one HTML file and publishes it with Vinssi Pages. You get a link in the form https://<name>-<random>-<workspace>.pages.vinssi.ai.

You need a Vinssi account. The first sign-in creates a workspace. Pages does not need a plan. New workspaces receive €9 of free credit. The credit is applied to invoices before a card is charged. This page does not use an app plan.

Copy this prompt

Paste it into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or another helper that can run commands. The instructions are at card.md. The human page for this prompt is Make your own page.

What the helper does

  1. It drafts a summary from what it knows and what you tell it.
  2. It asks you to confirm the name, role, short bio, interests or projects, and public links. It waits for yes.
  3. It asks you to run vinssi login if it is not signed in. You open the link, check the code, and choose Allow.
  4. It publishes the HTML file with Vinssi Pages and checks that the link returns 200.
  5. It replies with the live link.

Run the command as vinssi if it is installed, or as npx -y vinssi if it is not. The tool needs Node 20 or newer.

What stays off the page

The page is a general public introduction. Anyone with the link can open it. Vinssi asks search engines not to list it. The helper leaves out your home address, phone number, and personal email unless you explicitly ask for that item. It leaves out ID numbers, health, family, money, your location, private messages, private files, and employer-internal information. If it is unsure, it leaves the item out. You approve the summary before publishing.

If you would rather write the HTML yourself, use the commands in How to make your own website. The dashboard does not upload files.

Update it later

Ask the helper to change the page, or edit the HTML and publish again with --site and the site id from the first publish. The link stays the same. The same privacy rules apply to every update. The steps are in card.md and the Pages guide. They were not run against a signed-in Vinssi account for this guide.
